I received these Ariat "maroon" boots today and they are every bit as gorgeous as pictured. Zappos is unequaled among internet competitors in speedy shipment and customer service. I am delighted that these boots are so lovely and fit perfectly. I am a loyal customer and I'll certainly be back again and again. 5 Stars on all accounts!

New Ariat Walking Shoe. 1st a confession: I've bought a lot of shoes from Zappos, but these new Ariats were from another store. They are extremely comfortable, supportive but light and flexible, low cut around the ankles, low to the ground but stable. Removable insole, probably orthotics would fit. My foot has a narrow heel, med-wide across the ball, and sort of med to low volume, usually size 10/41. These have typical Ariat sizing: 10s = 41.5; 9.5s = 40.5. In Ariat boots I go down to 9 1/2; in these I took in 10's, and will wear med -heavy weight socks. My new go-to walk and travel shoes. Looks: kind of bowling shoes crossed with some Euro walker, funky but not clunky. Wear pants that cover some of the front!

This is a real boot. I ride, so I wear a lot of Ariat boots and this one is right in line with their ability to produce a great fitting, comfortable, real (read excellent craftsmanship) boot. I didn't find the shaft too narrow as some reviewers indicated. I have average calves, I believe, and the boot actually fit perfectly. I had tried on a few pairs built for thicker calves and they made me look thick and short, to be avoided at all costs. The height and sleek look of this boot is perfect.

These are the 5th pair of boots I have purchased from Zappos and have been thrilled with the customer service each and every time.The Ariats always seem a little snug right where the foot and shaft meet, but once on feel great and fit perfectly. I wear a 7 1/2 and have never ordered a different size (regardless of the reviews) and the only time I ever had a problem was my mistake as in my haste I hit a wrong size. When I realized I made an error I called and they are so fast my order was processed so I ordered the correct size and was able to return the "in error" ones free with the easy return process. I get compliments on all my boots from Zappos, but people really seem to go crazy over these. Lots of Texas attitude, a good fit and much comfort. What more could you ask for?!

Love these boots! It took me a while to find the right boot that was both genuine and comfortable. I wasn't looking for a trendy style boot that people wear. I wanted real country. These are so comfortable. The first day that I wore them, I wore them for about 10 hours and had no problems. They didn't need much breaking in, that 1st day was enough. I have the light brown/tan color and I really like them. I also have a wider foot, and since these have sort of a squared toe, they fit perfectly as opposed to being tight at the toes. They run very true if not slightly big. I could either be a 7 and 1/2 or an 8 and I got 7 and 1/2. And there's room to spare for big socks. Definitely a must have boot!

A new Fatbaby believer. I used to hate these boots because they looked like something a buckle bunny would wear. However, I tried on a pair today and bought them. They are so comfortable and very cushy. And they are made by Ariat so they will last forever.

These boots are very comfortable. I got the C width since I have a very high instep/arch. I usually order a W or WW if it\'s available, but in this boot the C width works just fine. I have no trouble at all putting them on or pulling them off. The length may run half a size larger in this style, as it\'s a little loose. The distressed brown color I received is a little lighter in color than in the photo, not darker like some of the other reviewers received.

I own two pair of Ariat western boots and just wish that every shoe I owned was as comfortable. Ordered these in my regular size and they fit perfectly. I wore them for a full day the first day and never one problem. Their cushioning is wonderful and they look great with jeans and cords, dressier than a tennis shoe but just as comfortable. Only wish that there were more styles available that did not look like clogs. Highly recommend!

These boots are excellent! I have large feet (size 11) and always have a problem finding boots to fit right. Not no more! These boots fit perfectly and also are comfortable! I can wear them for a night out on the town or all day at work and my feet don't hurt. Yea!

I am hard to fit and these shoes are a little bit loose in the heel, but that is normal for me. The first day I wore these shoes I had a long day on my feet at work and they didn\'t bother me at all. This is my second pair of Ariat shoes and both have been very comfortable.

I love these shoes, they are beautiful. They fit looser than my other Ariats (the ones with the silver rings), more like a clog, which I like. Very comfortable.

Beautiful shoe. Accurate sizing. I have a narrow heel and usually order a narrow shoe because the heel will slip as I walk. Not a problem with this shoe. My only concern with this design: the bridge (or top part of the shoe) is so high it makes it difficult to put on. I use a shoe horn and still struggle a bit. But I do have very high arches, which may be causing the problem.

These are very good looking, I get lots of compliments. They fit well although at first I thought they were tight around the high ankle, but after several wearings (they looked so good I wore them anyway!), they have loosened around the ankle and now feel fine. Overall a great boot. \r\n\r\n

Love these mules. I have three pairs and wear them all fall, winter and spring. The oldest one, my "messy shoes", are around seven years old and are holding up great. They dress up or down, look great, excellent quality. As usual, super-fast shipping from Zappos.

I\'ve always wanted a pair of cowboy boots and when my husband and I were invited to a cowboy themed party, it was just the excuse to buy a pair. I looked at various brands and ranges of prices in boots. When I found these, they seemed to be in the median range for price and neutral in color that could be worn with various outfits. I made the perfect choice. I didn\'t realize that cowboy boots could be so comfortable. Sizing did run a little large in this particular boot, but I read the prior reviews and ordered a half size smaller and they fit great. Will wear these boots for years.

Nice looking boots and good quality. I had to return the first pair I got because one of the insoles had a wrinkle in it when it was glued in, so it couldn't be worn without discomfort. This was not Zappos fault, but when I called to get a return authorization they apologized and upgraded my account to VIP status with free overnight shipping on all future orders. Zappos rocks that way! Anyway, the boots are nice, Zappos is great, and overall I'm happy with my purchase.

The Ariat Mule that I recently purchased is actually my second pair of this brand and style. The previous pair is now seven years old and was purchased from Nordstrom. This is an excellent quality shoe and fits my slender/bony feet quite well. It runs true to size, in my case a 7M. It has not stretched out of shape over the years and the leather looks like new! You have the option of wearing the shoe as a clog or using the strap around the heel for extra support.

I\'ve never bought a high end pair of work boots until now, but I am very glad I bought these. The less expensive pairs I bought before had mud or snow cake up in the sole enough to make me lose balance, they were slippery on smooth wood, they were heavy, I added extra cushioning to them and they leaked. The soles on these don\'t collect as much mud, traction is as good as I can expect, they\'re light, they are well cushioned and no leaks so far, but I haven\'t had them that long. I think they didn\'t need any break in time at all, if they did it was only one day.

Boot is very comfortable, I love the style. Had to buy a little smaller. I usually wear a 7.5 to an 8, the 8 was huge had to downsize to a 7.

The boots are really, really comfortable, but the color is too weird. The silver looks like a satiny gray in the photos, but in reality it\'s as shiny as aluminum foil. This would be great if you were going for the space-cowgirl look.

The perfect boot! I love the look of these boots, and love how they feel even more. They were horribly difficult to get on the first couple of times, so I had my husband put them on 2-3 times and that stretched them out. Now, they are easy to slip on and comfortable for the 8-9 hours a day I spend on my feet.

Ariat's clogs seem to have run a little small in the past (but according to Zappos' sizing charts, I may be between a 10 and 10.5. Thank you Zappos for providing such detailed charts). So I ordered this style in 11, and they have been wonderful for my feet, right out of the box. They are dressy enough for business/formal at work (with socks, not hose, so wearable in cold weather). But they provide enough support and cushioning so I can zip around the manufacturing floor (concrete!) securely with no foot pain. Thank you Ariat! Please add more colors!

In 1990, Ariat International co-founders Beth Cross and Pam Parker set out to create a new company and a new way of thinking about footwear for riders.
