I was looking for a comofortable leather shoe that had a heel height of at least 1" and came in a wide width. At first I ordered them in the ww width, and they were too wide, but Zappos sent me the next day the shoes in the w width and they are great. At 1-1/2" they give me some height, the leather is very supple and they are very comfortable. Returning the first pair was a breeze. I love and now order all my handbags, shoes and boots from them.

I actually really liked these boots. At size 11 it is very hard to find a cute boot and living in Seattle, you really need them. But alas, I had to return them as the zipper bulged out at the ankle. My ankles are pretty slim but my calf is not, that could have been the trouble. From the brief time I had them on at the house I could tell they would have been great if not for the durn zipper bump out. Rats! Oh well, hope they work for someone else because they were cute.

Love these boots! They look great with suits for work, but also with jeans or more casual outfits. I wore them one work day that started at 5:30 a.m. that didn't end until 9 p.m. and my legs and feet did not hurt at all. My calves are not skinny, but not too big and these fit perfectly!

I recently purchased these boots in grey after returning another pair by a different label due to fitting issues.\r\n\r\nI love these boots - they are easy to get on, are very soft and comfortable and look really great with bluejeans. I purchased another pair in black for my daughter and the fit is right on for both of us.\r\n\r\nThe only improvement that I would like would be a larger heel to provide the feeling of solid stability while walking on uneven surfaces.\r\n\r\nOther than that, they are great.

I bought these to wear on a trip to Italy when I needed a dressier shoe but had to walk on those cobbled streets. They are very comfortable, fit my foot well and look nice with skirts, leggings and pants. Well worth the money. Also they are well made.

Great shoe! Beware though, I ordered it in "wide" as I always feel my shoes are tight once the colder weather sets in and I'm wearing socks all the time. It is truly wide, so much so, now I have to find thicker socks! Oh well, still love the shoe, looks great with jeans or dressy pants. Very comfortable!

I\'m very happy with this shoe. Fits well and is comfortable. But aside from that, Zappos is my favorite (and probably only) shoe shopping site. The choices and customer service can\'t be beat. I have narrow feet and my choices here in Milwaukee are nil. The fact that I can type in my preferences and have choices takes all the frustration out of shoe shopping.

These boots would be great for those with thick ankles. I\'m not one of them so they didn\'t work for me. They fit my wide foot and muscular calf, but there was a highly unfortunate pouching effect at the ankle. Back they go!

This was my first experience with Zappos and overall I was completely satisfied. I ordered several pairs of shoes in various sizes. The David Tate Jade shoe was only available in my normal 5W size - which when it arrived ran big and I was not able to use them as hoped. If I could have, I would have reordered a smaller size, the shoe was gorgeous!

I am very happy with these. I needed extra wide and they definitely are. I wish they had a wee bit more cushion in the sole, but they fit nicely and look great.

These boots are amazing!! I have such a hard time finding trendy and comfortable boots for my large calves and feet, and the black patent are the best I\\\'ve ever purchased. I wore them all day last week for shopping, cooking, rehearsal, etc., and never once felt the urge to take them off. Love! Little too sexy for work, but that\\\'s ok, my bf loves them. :-)

These boots are great. Material is high quality and the fit was perfect. It\'s hard to find wide shoes, especially boots, and these are a great find.

This is a beautiful boot. I always order a half size bigger in boots, to allow for more toe room. I don't think it's necessary with this particular one, however, because the company is very generous with its sizing. Enjoy!

I have a very small shoe size and looked everywhere and lo and behold "Zappos" had not only my size (4 and a half), also great styles to choose from. I have paid any where from 150.00 and up for shoes. The shoes where great and they came in plenty of time as they where for my daughter's wedding. Now I know where to buy shoes for that special day and every day. Thank you. You saved the day!

I got these boots to wear with a specific outfit and they fit like a dream and looked awesome! I got my usual size and they were a little larger than I'm used to, but it is a boot, so I will be able to wear warm socks with them, but they are a beautiful boot. Thanks, Zappos! You guys rock!

"Not the glass slipper." I read a lot of the reviews and thought that I'd found that glass slipper of a tall boot. Well, not so. I wear a 6 and have bigger calves, but didn't realize I apparently have tree trunks for calves. The reviews said they'd fit wide calves and some even said they were too wide. I bought the red and the brown and neither one would zip more than 2/3 the way up my calf. I pulled, stretched, pinched, tugged, etc., to no avail. I'm returning both pair. On a side note, the ankle part was huge and would have looked a little odd even if the boot had zipped all the way up.

Just got these, sooner than expected, thanks for the upgrade, Zappos!, and surprisingly for someone with larger, muscular calves, they fit! The lacing in the back stretches quite a bit, but still looks cute. Very nice dressy boot!

Absolutely love these boots. I am wearing them as I am typing this review. The leather is so soft. I often have trouble finding stylish boots in wide widths, which is why I turned to Zappos. This is my first purchase and I am thrilled with Zappos and my boots!

I got the extra wide width in order to fit my 18" extra-large calf. It zipped up like a glove! Never before have I been able to wear a boot that went past the ankle. My only caveat is that there isn't enough padding in the bottom of the boot. I put in extra-thick insoles. Overall, love it!
