I had a really great experience with Zappos. We were not able to find steel toed black oxfords at any of our local stores and there were several to choose from on Zappos. I accidentally ordered the wrong product and was able to call and change my order with no problem at all. Our shipping got upgraded at no extra cost and the shoes arrived early. It was the perfect experience, and that's not something I can say often when shopping online. The shoes were actually comfortable for a steel toe. My husband said he could feel it somewhat, but he was able to work in them 8 hours the first day and didn't have any pain. They are very good looking, a little taller in the sole than expected, but no big deal.

Very comfortable. Don\'t come in 1/2 sizes, so I would suggest getting one size larger. Easy to clean, great oil and grease non-slip, five out of five stars.

Scott loves these boots, this is now his second pair. He works in a lumbermill, mostly outdoors, and is on his feet all day. They are not only comfortable for him, in spite of planar facitis, but they hold up remarkably well considering the beating they take.

I love my Dickies work shoe. I wear them every day in a wet and greasy hospital kitchen environment and never even think twice about slipping. They are extremely comfortably too, which helps getting through long days on my feet. Wearing them 5-6 days a week, they lasted me about a year. They wash well, but the water resistance starts to break down after about a year and I needed to replace them. I definitely recommend them, just plan on getting a new pair once a year.

I bought these shoes for my son. He's wearing them at his first job. He's on his feet the whole time he's at work, and he says these shoes are very comfortable and they don't look like regular work shoes. We love Zappos!

Worst shoes I’ve ever owned - I bought these shoes for work as a waitress and at first they were great. After a couple of weeks, the elastic started to stretch out within a month of buying them. I'm sorry, but a pair of shoes that cost this much should last longer than a month. I buy Sketchers now.

I bought these shoes because they look great with a uniform. They easily slip on and off, have great traction and they hold up their appearance. You are able to take shoe polish and make them look new again when needed. The last pair I had lasted two years.

I bought these boots for my husband. He loves them, they are very comfortable and true to size. Great for wearing in his shop on concrete floors. He has rhumitoid arthritis and used to complain that his feet hurt on the shop floors, but these boots help cushion them and he has stopped complaining. Anything that helps relive the pain is great. I bought these shoes to wear when I’m doing yard work. I wanted the steel toes for protection in case I accidentally stick my foot under the lawn mower blade, which isn’t likely, but I figure it’s better to be safe than sorry. They are very comfortable, and I am very pleased with them. I recommend them highly to anyone.

Very disappointed. Interior started to fall apart after 4 weeks, outside sole wore completely through after 4 months. Interior sole very poorly cushioned. Would NEVER purchase another pair.

This is a great boot. Super light, very well made. They are so comfortable, you want to wear them all the time. I would order a half size smaller next time. I wear a 9.1/2 in Nike and would easily fit in a 9 in this boot.

First, I ordered this shoe at 7am Thursday morning. I received my shoes at 2:30pm Friday afternoon. That’s right folks, I got my shoes the day after I ordered them! Awesome, right? These shoes are just as awesome. I have gone through two pairs of these and these are my third. They are a good looking shoe. And super comfortable. I have worked as a waitress wearing these and in the auto parts industry. Both of these jobs have me walking on greasy sometimes wet floors and I have never lost my footing in these. Did I say they were comfortable? I have super bony feet; anything other than tennis shoes hurts my feet. Being on my feet 8-10 hours a day I tend to wear out shoes. These are comfortable even at 6pm when I am kicking them off. Also, they have a cool punkish look, esp the suede style. So if you are like me and too young to wear the fuddy duddy new balances with velcro for comfort, these are awesome. Granted the tongue is big, just like in a skater shoe so if that’s not something you are not used to, be prepared it might take a little getting used to.

I'm on my feet 12-14 hours a day in an office environment. These boots are the BEST /most comfortable boots I have in my closet. They are light weight, and will form to your feet in a short time. They quickly feel like an old boat shoe or old baseball glove for those of you who can relate to these analogies. They have a wide toe box and a low arch. Great for flat footed people, but may not work for those who need high arch support. I love them!

I have worn these shoes for a few weeks now and have found them to be very comfortable, light weight. Two areas that I found that might concern some people are since these shoes are all leather uppers they are quite warm to hot; the other comment is that the upper tongue is a bit stiff and hits at the bend of the ankle, it took a little time for the shoe to break in, it did give some discomfort during this time. I walk 4 to 6 miles a day on concrete and tile; on concrete the shoe gives great cushion and my feet do not tingle or feel overly tired at the end of the day.

2nd pair and coming back for more. Pop in some new insoles and they feel like gym shoes, but they look "too good" to be work shoes...very nice, I just hope they don’t stop making them because I’m coming back for more.

Run Off Toe Clog - The quality is there, but the comfort isn't. I wait tables and am on my feet all day. The reviews were so good I thought I'd try them, but they run a full size small, which I ratified with an exchange but they are not comfortable at all. The top of the shoe made my feet hurt so bad I couldn't ever bear them for day 2. I passed them on to my daughter, who is also a server, so far she says they are O.K.

Good looks... bad fit - The first thing I noticed while taking these out of the box was they are HEAVY. Thick sole, thick tongue (like 1 1/2 inches), and thick around the ankle. Very bulky. I then put my foot in the shoe, and there was bad pressure in a few spots. My foot is not wide, but on the wider side of normal. These were tight. Other regular shoes fit me just fine. Life is too short for heavy, uncomfortable shoes.

I ordered 1/2 a size larger than my true size, and it felt too large overall (and didn't contain my heel w/ every step), so i think it's true to size. It’s very light, and if it were the right size, I imagine it would be comfy.
