These shoes were great looking but HORRIBLY uncomfortable. I was surprised since Pliner has always made such comfy shoes. Everything about the fit was wrong--they hit the foot in all the wrong places, they hurt between the toes and at the top band.

This is the best pair of shoes I own! Since I bought these about a month ago, I have worn nothing else. The leather straps are so soft and comfortable. The sole is cushioned and the arch is at a comfortable slope. The wedge and slight platform make them feel very stable -- especially for the height of the heel. The neutral color is very flattering to the leg. They really do fit like a glove. They just become part of your foot. I love them!

Great for Narrow Feet - I shopped all over Zappos for the perfect fitting black heel in a narrow, and I found it with this shoe. The toe thong does not show when the shoe is on and it helps prevent the forward slipping thing that happens with skinny feet. All of the Donald Pliner shoes I tried on were excellent with comfort and fit.

Very comfortable sandals. This is the 2nd pair I order. I wear these every day and they have lasted a year and a half. The first pair I bought had the stitching closer to the perimeter of the sandal, which is what gave out. This is corrected in the new design so I expect them to last longer.

I have this shoe in several colors and love it. The shoe is comfortable, true to size, and comes in a narrow size which is important to me. I have a pair from last year and I hope to see them next year. Being a Donald Pliner shoe it wears well.

I find these shoes to be fairly comfortable for all day wear - on a scale of 1 - 10, with 10 being super comfy, I'd give them a 7. The heel is a good height for one who can't wear anything beyond an inch and a half usually and the wedge-like heel is more stable, though I do find the heel to be a bit narrow and occasionally slip sideways in the shoe. I think they look better with pants than skirts. I like the color - it's pretty versatile.

Love this shoe. Have it in the original version in several colors and chose this because the color looked like it would match a new handbag I have, and it did! I have a very narrow foot (slim) and this shoe fits very well, so might be a bit narrow fitting for some. The only negative is that the narrow heel base takes some getting used to and if you are not steady on your feet, don’t buy it!

This is a great fitting sandal that is available in many colors. I must have at least 6 pairs and it is really hard to wear them out. I prefer this type of sandal because the toe and the wide top area keeps your foot in place. With so many other sandals, your foot slides around or even can come out of the shoe.

These sandals are extremely cute and fairly comfortable. They are very lightweight, and the bronze metallic color (which I ordered) is a great distressed metallic, not too shiny. I would prefer a bit of cushioning in the front of the sandal, which these don’t have – that’s so important with higher heels, which direct most of your weight to the front of your foot, and these are expensive enough that one would expect/hope to find them very well made. That having been said, I am happy enough with this purchase.

I love DP shoes but I REALLY love these shoes! I bought black and pewter, then had to have brown and yellow. Although they are high, they have about a 1/2" platform so they don't feel treacherous. And the heel is wide enough to give stability so you don't feel like you are walking on toothpicks. The wide strap really anchors the shoes to your foot too. So all in all a very good looking, comfortable and walkable high heel. Oh - and the rubber bottom is great too!

This shoe is pretty but very narrow. I am a 9B and it was short and felt narrow. I suggest ordering a half-size larger. I had to return the shoe. I will continue to shop at Zappos. Excellent customer service.

Can’t usually wear heels, but wanted to give heels a try again. These are gorgeous, sexy, AND comfortable. The stacked heel really helps with the comfort, though I wouldn’t walk for miles in them. Oh, I had to have the insole glued down, but I think my skinny jeans were going under my heel and loosening the insole, so I might not have otherwise had that problem. These are hot shoes, both fashionable and classic.

These are beautiful looking shoes - however, the 9 I ordered, one shoe was a tiny bit bigger than the other, so my foot kept sliding forward - not too comfortable. I had to return them - too bad. :(

Love it! I've got many pairs of Donald Pliners but have not purchased this footbed before. I was so very pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it is, despite that it is flatter than I usually buy. I was very happy with the color- a great neutral-it is not as yellow as it appears on screen. I wear and bought a 7-1/2 which fits perfectly but if you are between a 7-1/2 and 8 I would order up.

I love wedge shoes and saw theses while browsing through Zappos. They are VERY comfortable and I can wear them all day. I have gotten numerous compliments and one friend had me take them off so she could try them on. She ordered them from Zappos.

I'm a Donald Pliner fan. These shoes are an updated version of a similar sandal I purchased about three years ago, and love! One big difference between the previous pair and these; these are MORE comfortable and are like walking on little clouds, considering the sexy appearance. The distressed leather makes them seem like they've been worn for years, meaning complete comfort, soft, pliable leather, no stress points dig into your feet. This color will be perfect for summer as it goes with anything. Don't hesitate to purchase this shoe.

This shoe is so comfy and cute, but a pain to just kick off or put on. I have to actually use my hands to put these one or take them off...the straps get all bunched up, etc...they didn't do this when I first got them, or I would have shipped back ASAP...still love them, but hate that I can't just kick them off as I would like.
