I was extremely excited purchasing these because I love Lacoste shoes. They are extremely comfortable, easy to take off, the only down side to them is they are very warm. Cold weather is the choice of season if you want to wear these.

I bought the brown version of these shoes (which I can’t seem to find anywhere anymore), but can attest that not only are they a very slick pair of shoes, but they hold up very well. I’ve had them almost two years and wear them as my main pair of shoes/sneaks, and although the dark color has worn out on the toes, the shoes are still in great condition. I’d recommend to practically everyone, however, to buy a set of insoles for these, as the actual sole of the shoe is quite narrow, especially towards the middle/arch. Wish they still made the brown ones, as I’d buy another pair in a heartbeat.

I have these shoes in a different color which isn't offered on this site currently, but it's white and black for the most part with a little gray and red. The comfort is ok, but the shoe in general is great. I get compliments on them all the time. They're very stylish, and they make me want to buy more Lacoste shoes.

Comfy bag - I love this bag as I can put a lot of things, even docs I need to bring whenever I have transactions. I received it as a gift from my husband and I take it shopping, malling or bonding time with family and friends. I have the sea blue version. The bag in general is very sturdy!

So cute ... and so painful. I had to return these darling shoes because my toes where too tightly squeezed in my regular size 9 while the rest of the shoe fit perfectly. The heel pinches too, beware.

I bought these shoes from Zappos because I really liked the style and I feel they go well with everything. A couple of things to keep in mind: 1) It takes a couple of days to break them in, so if you feel uncomfortable at the start, don’t worry about it. 2) I’m not quite sure about the Lacoste sizing. I normally wear a US 10.5, but had to call for a US 9.5 in these shoes. 3) They are on the expensive side, but then again, you are paying for the name brand as well. All in all, it’s a great pair of shoes to have.

I had been searching for rain boots for about three years (seriously). I wear between a 4.5 and a 5, and many rain boots only come in full sizes, starting with 5, and everything I tried was huge. Kids styles looked, well, childish. Finally, I found these! Not too high on the leg, so I can still tuck in my pants; not too low, so my calves are covered; the black/milk looks great with my black raincoat; and they are comfortable too. I added a gel insole for a bit more cushioning, but you can do without. I have already worn these a lot due to a rainy spring in NYC. They are worth the money, and were worth the wait!

Very comfortable! These are very soft, and the leather is very flexible, the laces allow them to adjust easily for wide or narrow feet. Run a little big. The colors are a bit plain, but match a lot. Have a bit of a golf look to them, but super practical for walking.

Quality shoe - I recently purchased the Lacoste Sculpted Lace shoe as a gift to my former foreign exchange student who has become like a family member to us. The shoe is very nice looking. The quality is mirrored not only in appearance, but also in the details of construction. The shoe fit Luis beautifully, was soft and supple, and very comfortable.(So many quality details in this shoe.) Zappos is such a wonderful place to shop, with free shipping and returns, excellent customer relations. I always shop Zappos before looking anywhere else online or in stores.

After perusing numerous brands and labels, Lacoste nailed what I was looking for. For most people, size up 1/2 your regular size. However, for small-footed guys like me, this is a PERFECT FIT. Could use some arch support, but otherwise this shoe is excellent!

Gorgeously Wonderful!!! These shoes look even better in person. Unfortunately I had to return them for a different size so that was a bummer! However, these shoes are the best!! I would recommend getting 1 size smaller because than ran bigger than all of my other shoes!

Nice shoe. Shoe fits snug. Maybe a little too much but we will see once it breaks in. The look is great. The "waffle" pattern with the Lacoste name adds a little something to this shoe. I needed to buy some heel inserts to raise my feet up a bit so that it didn't rub on the bone on the outside of my foot. But overall, great looking shoe.

Fashionable and Functional - The Lactose Repels are the most expensive tennis shoes I have ever owned. I bought them to use as court shoes for racquetball. They are rather comfortable and have a good amount of grip. They are also some of the coolest pairs of shoes I have owned and look nothing like what most people wear for court shoes. Their only downfall is that they are relatively heavy compared to other brands. Overall, an awesome pair of shoes to look good and play well in.

LACOSTE Brand Story
René LACOSTE entered the legend of tennis when he and his team-mates
"The Musketeers", stole the Davis Cup away from the Americans for the
first time, in 1927. Not forgetting his 3 French Open victories (1925, 1927 and the ROLAND-GARROS stadium in 1929), his two victories in Great Britain (WIMBLEDON 1925 and 1928) and two U.S. OPEN titles at Forest Hills (1926 and 1927).
René LACOSTE was born in France on 2nd July 1904 and died on 12th
October 1996. The true story of the "Crocodile" begins in 1927. René
LACOSTE liked to recount how his nickname became an emblem recognized
throughout the world.
I was nicknamed "the Alligator" by the American press, after I made a
bet with the Captain of the French Davis Cup Team concerning a
suitcase made from alligator skin. He promised to buy it for me if I
won a very important match for our team. The public must have been fond of this nickname which conveyed the tenacity I displayed on the tennis courts, never letting go of my prey!"
"So my friend Robert GEORGE drew a 'crocodile' which I then had
embroidered on the blazer I wore on the courts."
An attentive spectator at René LACOSTE's Davis Cup matches was the winner of the BRITISH Womens golf title, Mademoiselle Simone THION de la CHAUME, who soon became his wife and constant support.
In 1933, René LACOSTE and André GILLIER, the owner and President of
the largest French knitwear manufacturing firm of that time, set up a
company to manufacture the logo-embroidered shirt. The champion had
designed this for his own use on the tennis court, as well as a number of other shirts for tennis, golf and sailing - as can be seen in the first catalogue, produced in 1933.
To the best of our knowledge, this was the first time that a brand
name appeared on the outside of an article of clothing - an idea which has since become extremely successful.
This shirt revolutionized mens sportswear and replaced the woven
fabric, long-sleeved, starched classic shirts.The first LACOSTE shirt
was white, slightly shorter than its counterparts, had a ribbed
collar, short sleeves with ribbed bands and was made of a light
knitted fabric called "Jersey petit piqué".
Today, it continues to offer the same quality, comfort and solidity on which it built its name and which constitute its uniqueness.
