What a shame -
I really love how these shoes look and feel, except for the opening at the front being a quarter inch too wide. My second toe squeezes down through the opening in a very awkward way, making for a gross "pinched toe" appearance that looks even more painful than it actually feels. In the end, I intended these to be night-clubbing shoes and they are comfortable and cool enough to be exactly that, if not for the pinched toe problem. Note that I have a long second toe, so hopefully this would not be a problem for most women, not sure. Just know I reluctantly have to return these otherwise darling shoes because of this. And I was all set to buy a second pair in a different color. Darn.
I will add, however, that the workmanship on this shoe is not worthy of the price tag. There are a couple of hanging strands of fiber that need to be clipped and also some loosely glued areas of the footbed. They aren't noticeable imperfections if you are walking in them in terms of what others see, but they suggest the shoe may not hold up well over time if this is the lack of attention to detail shown by its manufacturing workers.

These shoes look nice and are quite comfortable, even if you don't normally wear heels. I got them in black patent and like the texture of the leather. The only problem is that they are lined in cheap vinyl which doesn't let the feet breathe at all, so not the best choice for an 8-hour day in a heated office.

Great work shoe -
I got the Praise in brown. Its combo of leather and suede makes for a sharp look that is modern and stylish with both skirts and pants for work. I'm a runner and have banged-up feet and so usually avoid shoes with heels, but these are more comfortable than most - and I walk a lot.

This shoes are my favorite! They are comfortable, cute and easy to dress up or down. Excellent buy! My only thing is that the heel was a little slippery, but other than that, it is just fabulous!

Really cute shoe! Even my 14yr old daughter thought these looked "hip", and she's a harsh critic! I had to go a full-size up because they didn't have this in a wide, but I believe they are true-to-size for someone who has a "normal" foot. Lots of compliments, too! The only reason I didn't give them a 5-star rating was because I almost fell twice because the heel is so slippery on non-carpeted surfaces. I just put one of those furniture-protector pads on the bottom of the heel to alleviate any future "slip-ups"! And of course, the Zappos customer service team always gets a 10/10, as they are truly one of the few companies out there that really bend over backwards for their customers. FREE next-day shipping is unheard of in this economy, and their shoe prices are still competitive with everyone else out there, so it's not like they're making up for it by gouging the price.

Almost just what I wanted...
This boot is incredibly comfortable...I felt like I could walk in them for miles. I had to return them though, because they look too casual for me to wear to work and the stitching on the boot and button on the boot looked too country western for my tastes.

I've Got Spurs That Jingle Jangle.
I ordered this shoe with high hopes... the look was really cute, but one of the buckles made a noise that sounded like I had spurs on! There was also no padding and they felt like they would hurt after a short while of wearing. The look would be cute with jeans or even a skirt and tights, if you do not plan on doing much walking.

I love the design of this boot. It is well constructed and the materials are ok (not outstanding, but not bad either). Regarding comfort, I give it 4 stars because the outline shape of the boot fits well (almond toe), however, there is no padding built in under the ball of the foot and you can feel any pavement irregularities through the sole quite easily. Overall though, this is a great boot for style without pain (discomfort yes, pain no).

Another home run.
What a happy purchase! Soft leather hugs but does not bind my temperamental toes. Heel height is comfortable, but the look is still stylish. I wear an 8, and 8 was perfect! I can thin or thick sock with equitable comfort. It's a shapely boot, so don't feel like your sacrificing comfort. I bought the mocha, which I wear with both my denim capris and my office skirts. I'm going for the black. Fellow Nicole lovers, you will not be disappointed.

Comfy but runs huge -
I normally wear an 8.5 and I sized down to an 8 knowing that flats always seem to run big for me, and these STILL are coming right off my heel. Walking around on the carpet they seem pretty comfortable. They look sort of frumpy but I guess the comfort would be worth it. There is a little insert for the arch, but it could be a bit bigger for me, because I need a LOT of arch support. But these aren't the worst I've come across. Not sure if I'm going to completely return these or try the 7.5...

I absolutely love these shoes. They look great with everything ever and are so comfortable. I wear them with flared pants, straight leg, and skirts. The brown is a little lighter in person than the picture but I really like the color. You do not really feel like you are wearing heels when you have them on (all the time for me...I would sleep in these if I could) because the stacked heel is so sturdy. One negative, which isn’t really negative, is that if I am not wearing socks with them they do hit up against my ankle, but just put a shoe insole in and that will easily take care of the problem. Seriously these shoes are great. I have never reviewed anything before and I like these so much, I felt I just had to.

Oh my, oh my ladies, you will not believe how comfortable these boots are!!! I can't believe it myself since I was half expecting to send them back, however they are the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever owned, I can't wait to wear them all winter!!! The leather is very soft and rich looking and the platform makes them feel like you're wearing flats, I just can't get over at how comfy they are. My husband thinks they're hot too. If you're looking for a tall boot I would definitely recommend these, it's so worth every penny.

Stiff, with a long toe - I'm returning these shoes. They are cute looking, but the quality is not very good. Lots of thread ends, etc. Also, the leather is stiff and the metal piece in the front makes the front especially stiff. Finally, the toe seems really long. The shoe fit (my heel sat properly in the shoe and my foot didn't slide forward), but there was a lot of space in the toe area. This added to the discomfort, and made my feet look really long.

LOVE THIS BOOT! I have a wide foot with a high arch and it fits. Bought the same size in this boot as I wear in a high heeled shoe. First time on was comfortable and I have worn them with everything, jeans, skirts, shorts and dresses. The detailing with the leather is extremely nice. Shipping was fast. Packaging was excellent. Too cute for words! Zappos rocks! I ordered these and another pair of shoes late Monday night and the box was on my doorstep Tuesday when I got home from work. Very comfortable, enough room for my toes, which have a tendency to get cramped in any round or pointy toed shoe. The only ding against comfort is that my heel slips a bit. I'll try some of those heel pads, should do the trick just fine.

Awesome shootie -
Looked great with tights and skirt. Heel high enough to look dressy but not too high. Look much more expensive than they are. Pretty comfy out of the box, but I confess I added of those cushion insoles to lift my foot a little as the top of shoe was hitting my anklebone. That fixed it completely and I walked around town all rainy evening for first wearing, with many compliments and no sore feet.

Good, but not great -
I got the pewter, but they were darker than in the picture. I also thought buckle angle placement could've been better, but that might just be me. Stood in them for about 5 minutes and I noticed that the inner sole lining kind of wears into your foot, but it's otherwise fine.

I really like this shoe. It's very comfortable and fits my hard-to-fit foot. I haven't worn it to work yet, but I think it will be fine for an entire day on my feet. My only concern is that the fabric around the edge may rub a little bit, but that has not been a problem so far.

Got them in green -
I get lots of compliments on this shoe. I usually wear colorful shoes to work (sneakers and flats) and people I wouldn't expect to like them ask me where I got them and "how cute!" these are. My only issue is that I've had to put band aids on the back of my ankle so there's no rubbing. I figure it's where it hits me on my ankle and some stiffness in the shoe.
