Pure DELIGHT!
My grandson LOVES his new slippers! Construction vehicles + flashing lights = a little boy's dream. They are easy to put on and take off, they are warm and cozy, and he is eager to wear them...Mommy is delighted with them, too. I highly recommend these well-made, thoughtfully designed slippers.

Love This Shoe!!
I have a 2 year old daughter and we are in love with this shoe. We will continue to buy her shoes from Zappos. She never wants to wear shoes but when we got these, she runs to go get them and wants to put them on. They slide on so easy and are quick to put on. They are very comfortable for her. My daughter's feet sweat but after she takes off the shoes, her socks aren't damp at all. We love the fact that she can wear these with jeans or a dress. One day she actually sprayed her foot with the water hose and the inside of the shoes barley got wet. She was able to wear them later that afternoon. I recommend everyone buy this shoe! Your child will appreciate it. Toddlers feet need to be comfortable when they are 1st learning to walk and run. At first I was hesitant because we have had so many bad experiences with shoes in the past, but I read all the other reviews and went ahead and bought them and I could not be happier!! My only complaint is my daughter has a very large and wide foot and when the shoes are on the strap does not want to go all the way across. But the shoe is still WORTH it!! Thanks Zappos! :)

Great shoe, weak LED lights -
My 3.5 year old daughter needed some light up shoes to replace the previous Skechers she had outgrown. These seemed like the best pair available. Was glad to find them, but I'm pretty disappointed in the current LED lights, which have about one fifth the brightness of her last pair; even in total darkness you can only see the lights if you're specifically staring at them and know they're there - they do not serve a safety function nor have that "wow" effect. Her previous model (white Skechers with red and blue LEDs) were very bright and would catch your attention from 100' away and people would comment how cool they were. Other than the lights being almost useless, the shoe has a nice design and fits well. Probably won't order Skechers again unless they return to quality lights.

Gives kids the light-up without the tacky characters -
This shoe was a great compromise for me and my son. He was dying for the light up feature & I just don't like all the character shoes. This one looks like a nice casual sneaker for school and gave him the lights. Great for both of us.

Not the best shoe for the money -
My son loves the fact they light up... he is 2 1/2 and thinks they are cool, but they are not the best quality... the silver side stripe has already peeled off the sneaker and the front strings that you used to sew the bottom on are already frayed and well... I will not purchase this brand again... Skechers quality has gone downhill... BUT ZAPPOS... is still the best... best service, and best shipping... super fast...I love ZAPPOS.

Very cute, but...
These are so cute with a lot of padding for comfort. The heart button (to manually make them light up) sticks out from the shoe, so it gets worn down quickly exposing the insides of the button. They could have left this feature out and had an outstanding shoe.

Great value -
The Stride Rite brand is a great value for kids sneakers. They grow so quickly, it's nice not to spend a fortune on sneakers! We tried other brands and they didn't wear as well as the Stride Rite brand. The lights make a nice add on for the kid. Hook and loop makes it easy for them to put on/off.

An exciting option for boys!
These sneakers are sleeker and more flexible than a lot of NB Kids. Plus, the silver color makes them different than the drab/boring color options usually available for boys. The robot is a fun addition, too. My son has narrow feet and they work for him due to the velcro, but I would say these would even work for a child with wide feet, as they seem wider than a M width. Your little guy would surely like them. They also seem slightly larger than the size marked, but that could be due to the width.

Cute light-up sneaker -
My 5 year old daughter outgrew this sneaker and wanted the same style in a larger size. I bought it because it is available in XW sizes and she liked the style. It is an overall sturdy shoe and fits her wide feet comfortably. The only complaint I have about this shoe is that the threads on the pink metallic closure become frayed fairly quickly on both pairs. It was a minor issue and not enough to keep me from re-ordering in the larger size.

Kids love 'em - mom not so thrilled.
I was that hold-out Mom who never bought my sons the sneakers with lights. But once I saw these in both fire and police themes - both of my sons would be over the moon! The lights are super bright...they totally sucked us in!
I have to say that after *ONE* WEEK the lights stopped working on one of each of their pairs. It's now been 3 weeks and only 1/4 of the lights are operational.
They are expensive - but certainly not durable.
They look great - but don't be fooled.
The only good thing about them - is even with the lights not working - the kids like em... and I don't have to tie.
I can not in good faith support this product.

My 2 year old loves them!
I have to say that my two and half year old absolutely loves these sneakers! She makes us turn off the lights in our hallway so she can watch her lights go off. Thanks Zappos, couldn't beat your price and it was well worth every ounce of joy my daughter gets from wearing them.

Stiff leather -
I bought these shoes for casual wear in public, but after a few times, we decided these are okay only for playing in the yard. The leather is TOO stiff, the strap tends to unclose all the time. NOT the best of Stride Rite. I was disappointed in quality this time.

Daughter Loves Them -
These are the only shoe she will wear. She has to wear sneakers to school but really doesn't like to - these she loves because of the lights and they are really easy for her to take on and off herself.

Great shoes for your little one - My son has size 13 wide feet. I have tried several other shoes similar to these but they did not fit well. These fit perfectly to his foot and he loves that they have lights just like the average child’s shoe. So all in all, they are very durable, easy to clean, and can hold up to a hyper 2 1/2 year old.

Sketchers Shoes -
These shoes were for my 5 year old. Sketchers are a very popular brand of shoes, and are popular because they are a great product. This was my first experience buying from Zappos, and this was for convenience as well as for getting these shoes when there was so much competition when buying them because of school starting up. What got me to buy them at Zappos is that they ran about the same price as my local shopping mall here in town, Fred Meyers, but there was no additional tax or shipping attached to the stated price. I am very happy with this purchase. They were a competitive price, good quality shoe, and no additional tax or shipping attached to the price. Shipping was very fast. I will buy shoes from Zappos again.

My granddaughter just adored these comfy shoes.
The comfort cushion of these shoes is perfect, not to mention the pretty butterflies and lite up flowers. My granddaughter wanted to wear them to show all her little friends, right after she opened the Zappos boxes. The fit was perfect, says Mom and she can't keep them off her daughters feet. They were a hit as a gift.
