Nice size bag with a wide bottom - which is an issue for a sling bag. Since a sling has only one strap, it is best to have a narrow bag to maintain balance of the bag. A wide bottom bag tends to cause the sling to slide off of the shoulder. Additionally, this bag has a pocket on the side opposite the sling which tends to rub against the inside of the arm during movement.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I'm an ASICS guy.

Comfort Personified!
I purchased this bag to take on a week long Elderhostel hike in KY. I wanted a day pack that was big enough, but not too big. When it arrived, it was a little larger than anticipated, but as it turned out, it was just big enough to stuff a rain jacket, hat, identification books, note pad, sunscreen, etc. into… all of which I needed. It is balanced and very comfortable. I wore it all day. I could also turn it around without removing it to access the large pouches. I'm very happy with it!

 |  | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family.
