This sandal is comfortable and stylish. It is a little bit more clunky then it looks in the picture, but it\'s nothing to complain about. Once the leather becomes worn in, it is soft and supple. The only slight problem is how long it takes to buckle these sandals, but once the leather wears in it gets easier. These sandals are perfect for a long walk around town.

I have worn this sandal once with capris and was on my feet for over six hours. Very soft and comfortable, but shoe does have a little weight, but not heavy. Since Zappos has such a wonderful return policy you should give them a try. Very nice dark brown, almost looks black.

Best shoe ever!
I love Docs, but sometimes have trouble breaking them in. This shoe felt like an old friend from the minute I put them on! They are extremely comfortable and easy to wear with just about anything. With the thinner sole, they are lighter than the average Doc without losing the Doc feel. Awesome shoe! And one more thing, Zappos ROCKS when it comes to service and satisfaction!!!

Problem with these shoes -
The straps are very hard to unbuckle and buckle. It took me about 5 minutes to unfasten them when I took them out of the box. It took an additional 5 minutes to get them on my feet. It seems as if the straps are too thick to easily go through the loop on the buckle. The holes for the buckle seem a bit small, which adds an additional problem in putting them on. I hope once I break them in, this problem will be resolved. If not, I'm sending them back. I don't think the sandals size was a half size larger than marked, but it did seem to be a quarter size larger.

These are truly comfortable sandals. I bought them before they came in Dark Brown, which I would have preferred, but the tan is nice. The first time I wore them was to a parade and a full day of walking. They were wonderful. I even went out dancing that night in them. The only thing about them is that they are not as feminine looking as in the pictures. They are more of the basic Dr. Marten style – a little chunky. They fit true to your size. I wear a 6 1/2 USA sizing and I always wear a size 4 in the Docs.
