Great shoe! They breathe very well. As for style, they look great, I was looking for a white sole. These authentic originals are more of an off white sole so keep that in mind, but if that’s what you’re looking for, then these are the way to go. I can’t find anything wrong about them.

Wonderful shoes. Amazing Value. For the price, I absolutely cannot find better boat shoes. I love the neutral design that slips on and off easily. For me, the biggest plus of wearing these shoes is that I am actually able to wear them without socks without having to worry about any kind of discomfort. After a day of wearing them, my feet were still blister free and quite dry and most importantly pain free despite its lack of any significant arch support.

Really like the Top-Sider. Classic relaxed style and very comfortable. Don't plan on walking more than a mile in them though, not a lot of support/cushioning. That's not what they're for anyway, more of a casual cruising around or boating shoe. Great value, nice leather that keeps the stink away.

Firstly, my shopping experience was top-notch; future purchases will be made from Zappos. I initially bought these shoes in Sahara and they were much lighter in color than they appeared on the web. I switched them for the Amaretto style in order to get a color that is more traditionally brown. I also ended up getting them a 1/2 size smaller than my normal sneaker size; if you're wearing them w/o socks I would recommend this. Free shipping both ways - so it was no problem; my new order came next day! They're not broken in yet but are already comfortable. I thought I may end up with a blister or two before they feel ok, but right out of the box they feel great.

As usual my Zappos experience is unparalleled!! Their prompt and efficient service ensured that I was wearing my Sperry's 48 hours after my order. The leather on these shoes is so soft that they didn't require any breaking in. Supremely comfortable and great looking. Absolute must haves for spring and summer!! I'm a size 11 and I ordered the Sperry's in 11. But I wear them without socks. So if you wish to wear socks with these...order half a size up.

This is a great shoe for the summer. Very good for slipping on before anything, class, dinner, or a day out. These shoes are great for being casual but they help make you look more formal than flip flops. Some people may not like these shoes for a lot of walking as they don't come with much support, but they do feel great.

I bought these for my husband. He has narrow feet and has a hard time finding the correct fit. Also, he loves the Sperry Topsider. When he got these, he was thrilled that they fit perfectly, were light weight, and are exactly the shoe he wanted. The price was right also. He couldn't be happier with this shoe and the superior service from Zappos.

GREAT shoes! You must break them in for a few days at first, but are very comfortable after that! If you need arch support or are on your feet all day, these are not the shoes for that.

The Old-New Classic -
This is the classic boat shoe. The shoe is awesome. Overall I give it four stars only because I didn't expect that it would be slightly wider than most shoes. Anyway, it’s very good quality and comfort.

I wear Ferragamo driving shoes all the time, but wanted something cheaper and affordable for the summer... something I wouldn't care if they ended up in the pool. I find these to be very comfortable, with a good foot bed. The leather uppers are soft and high quality. A steal for the price!

What's that smell?
I really liked the light tan color I got. They were pretty comfortable, although I felt like wearing a low sock would be even better. The bad thing was they were so smelly. I know new leather shoes can smell like leather, but my husband was saying he thought a mouse maybe died in my closet, and we determined it was these shoes he was smelling. I put them outside for several days, through sun and rain (boat shoes, right?) and that seems to have helped.

Disappointed! After reading customer reviews I ordered pair of these shoes in half size smaller, so that I could wear 'em without socks. Shoe quality is not so good, insoles made of cheap leather and they smell awful! There is no arch support, if you walk with 'em for half hour your feet hurt, not mentioning that the stitches in the back of the shoes scratch your ankles if you want to wear them without socks. When I put the white socks on after an hour on my feet with these shoes they became brown! So unless you want to wear them with black socks and you don't walk or stand as much as I do they are OK.

A classic shoe at a good price -
I grew up in New England, and I can't remember when I didn't have at least one pair of boat shoes for the summer. For quick slip-on summer shoes, these are a comfortable and good-looking improvement over flip-flops or sandals. You can dress them up with khakis or down with a swimsuit or shorts. White soles won't mark up a boat deck and they won't slip on a wet surface. I've tried other versions from Bean's and Land's End, but I came back to the Sperry because it really is a good shoe.

Your teenager will wear this shoe!
This is the perfect spring/summer shoe for the teenager who wants to wear basketball or running shoes, or flip-flops even when they aren't appropriate. Good looking and comfy, according to my son. I wore these when I was a teen and there really was no arch support, but he doesn't seem to care.

I LOVE THIS SHOE. I am now on my third pair. They are an unbelievably durable pair of shoes. They look great and amazingly comfortable. I bought them assuming that they would look alright with socks, but they don't. I'm not a big sock wearer anyway, but depending on what color you get, they have different insoles (some cloth and some leather). I have one in leather and two in cloth, and the two cloth pairs began to smell bad really quickly. My other pair smells fine. My only complaint is that they don't really have all that great of an arch and for someone with a very high arch, it becomes somewhat uncomfortable after wearing them for a very prolonged period of time. My solution was to buy removable arch supports and they are amazing. Strongly recommend.

I have worn this model (0195115) TopSider for decades, and generally buy two or three pair at a time. This pair has two faults: (a) the serrated sole is poorly manufactured. The serrations are uneven, in some areas just an impression with no cut into the sole at all, hence its ability to grip a wet surface with confidence is far less, and (b) the leather seems a different and lower quality and perhaps a less durable shoe.

My husband had worn holes in his previous beloved pair. I was wary of buying another pair over the internet, but he just put them on and wore them all day. No breaking in at all. Wonder of wonders, he threw his "holy" pair away - the true sign that the new ones were just as comfortable as the old ones.

These shoes look great and are super comfortable right out of the box. I'm sure after the summer they will be broken in and even more comfortable. I ordered a half size too big the first time because I didn't think about wearing them without socks. After I reordered the half size smaller, they fit great.

Welcome Back -
It's been awhile since I've owned a pair of Top-Sider's. Man are they comfortable (right out of the box). They feel like a pair of slippers. The arch support is horrible, but my orthotics fit perfectly without removing the factory insole.

 |  | I just wanted to say how awesome I think your company (and associates) are - and have ALWAYS been. I have been trying to find shoes (sandals) to fit my short, wide feet (although I am a petite person) for over 3 summers. Even though I have not yet been successful finding a pair with Zappos (or any other company), I still love looking at all your shoes and the fact that I can order them and return them with no hassle and no charge is just FANTASTIC (because I never know if any of the shoes will work for me unless I try them on). PS: My ONLY suggestion would be for Zappos to keep stocking size 6 wide and extra wide in FEMININE, nice-looking, comfortable shoes! Especially the sandals!
