Needed a hlaf size.
Order one size, front was tight, but back fit good. Ordered a size up and front fit good, but back was too big. Would have been great if they had a half size!

Ok these shoes are perfectly cute! I always wear the big clunker Docs and these are just as comfortable. I got my usual size and these were a tad big so all I did was buy those cushions from the drugstore and even better! Will buy these again! Lots of compliments and FAST delivery. Thank you Zappos again!

They're Dr. Martens!
I really enjoy these shoes but somewhat uncomfortable. The back of the shoes always hurt when I walk; always have to put a bandage on. I love the style of the shoes and always get compliments on them; they go great for casual wear to work wear.

Really cute, mostly comfy -
This shoe looks adorable, and you will get lots of compliments when you wear it. The shoe does run big, but with a heel pad and little footie it was fine. As with many Doc's, they're not padded on the sides, so take a little of breaking in (for me, at least). But, as cute as these are, it's worth it!

These will take some getting used to -
I love the look of the shoe (nice for dressing up a pair of pants or skirt, and that's hard to find in a flat; they also don't make my #10s look like gunboats, which is a plus), but they are like rocks, compared to the Keens I usually wear. I'm willing to accept the break-in though, because, after all they're Dr. Martens. But I won't be using them on any walking tours of the cathedrals of France, that's for sure. These remind me of the breaking-in we used to have to do with our Levi's shrink-to-fit 501s. There. I've done it--revealed my age. But it's part of the story of the product. They wouldn't be Doc Martens if you didn't go through it.

I turned to you for service because you have been so prompt and friendly with my previous orders.
