The Life Walker is a keeper, all right. Sure, firm steps; my flat feet are guided along comfortably, too. One quibble that applies to, seemingly, 100% of shoes sold today, not to the Propet in particular: the laces are too long. Overlong laces can easily become untied and trip us, including runners and hikers (perhaps while hiking along a cliff). I cannot understand why. If there is a secret shoelace tying method known only to hipsters and skateboarders, I don't want to know it. Let's have laces that aren't long enough to tie up hostages.

These shoes are comfortable, well-made, and reasonably priced for the quality. I love their sporty looks. Fun shoes. And, of course, Zappos had them at my door in a day and a half. Great service as always.

These are great shoe. They are very comfortable. Best of all they are easy to get on and off when walking through airport security. These do not look like an old lady's shoe

This is an excellent boot. The support is great for walking and standing. Having the side zipper is very convenient when you don\'t want to play with the laces. It is very light while providing warmth and comfort.

Surprisingly good walking shoes. I only say surprisingly because I went from the NB ZIP to the Exo Walker and wasn't too sure how my feet would handle with the shoe brand I've never used before. The shoes are much lighter then the ZIPs that I had and equally as comfortable. I recommend the Propet Exo walkers for work shoes on jobs that have you on your feet for long hours and/or long distances.

First ordered my size (8.5) in wide. Way too small! But Zappos made the switch to a whole size larger very easy. Very comfortable! Slightly orthopedic looking, but only if you look hard. Wore them on a trip to NYC with lots of walking, and was very glad to have them. Kudos!

I ordered these hiking boots for my 12 year old son (he wears a men's size shoe) who does a lot hiking with Boy Scouts. He wore them to school a few days to break them in before his weekend hike in the mountains and he said they were great. They were in the mountains on steep terrain and had a good grip on the slopes. They are comfortable, have good arch support and thanks to the side zipper are easy to put on/off.

This is a cute, comfortable, lightweight shoe. I like that the sole isn't too "orthopedic-looking", plus, I'm just a sucker for t-straps. My shoe size is 8-1/2 EE, and this shoe seems to be true to size and width. My only complaint is that the toe is more tapered than the pictures show, so I find my 3rd, 4th, and 5th toes rubbing against the side of the shoe. The leather is very soft, though, so this is not painful, although after a few hours, it becomes somewhat irritating. And to those who have narrow heels, these shoes seem roomier than some other extra wide shoes I own.

This was my first order with Zappos. The service was great. I bought these shoes sight unseen, not something I would normally do. The shoes are very well designed and constructed. They are truly wide and a very stable sole for balance. I love them. I have never had a shoe too wide (as most store shoes a simple D's) but these are wide so I have to wear thick socks or my foot moves sideways. The shoes have a great finish.

Not waterproof! This shoe is grouped under "waterproof" when doing a search for waterproof shoes on Zappos, and they are definitely not waterproof. Wore them in the snow last winter, and water leaked in the seam at the base after less than a month of wear. Would not purchase again.

Love them! These shoes were so comfortable I wore them out. I would definitely buy another pair. I have a high instep, but there was enough give to make them very comfortable. I didn't use them for exercising, but as a casual walking shoe they were great.

I am a big man with a wide foot and have had trouble finding a comfortable shoe that fits well and lasts. I just purchased this shoe and it felt great right out the box. Extra wide was perfect fit and gave me plenty of room, toes not bunched and roomy on both sides of the foot. I had been having trouble at end of long day at office with feet and legs being tired. However, with these shoes I have noticed a big difference and have not experienced those problems any longer. I used to wear New Balance shoes because they are available in 4E and will continue to do so with tennis shoes only. However, I will stick with these shoes for long days at the office because they feel great and look dressy. I liked them so much a bought a second pair to keep as a spare in case they ran out and did not have them available when I needed another pair. I only wish they came in white so I could have a pair to knock around in and wear all the time instead of having to go back to the New Balance. So far the sole has lasted and not shown any wear of wearing down on the outside, which usually happens because of my weight. Would recommend these shoes to anyone and already have done so.

These are very comfortable. I had to put a better insole in for better arch support and padding, and now I can wear them all day. Great for work, running errands, etc. Probably not supportive enough for very long walks. The heels do not slip and they look great with jeans and cords. I\'m not crazy about the shiny tape decoration.

I bought these shoes for my husband. He wears a size 14 so I always have to order them. These were the most comfortable shoes he has ever had and likes them a lot. Great for the office and wear nicely. We have bought this brand before and it continues to impress. Great brand!

Very comfy right out of the box, but odd sizing. I ordered my normal size and half size bigger as noted, and both were too big - my foot fell out of my normal size. I then ordered half size down in regular and wide width, and the shoe was a bit too snug. I ended up returning these due to sizing, but when I tried them out at home, they were comfy from the start, and I really wanted to keep them!

I bought a pair of these and liked them so much I bought two more to have in reserve when the first one wears out (which it hasn't after more than a year and a half). Great to wear in hot climates or whenever the temperature is high. Over a pair of black socks, they look just fine for business casual situations, as well as casual ones. They're comfortable enough for taking the dogs on long, brisk walks (I have two Rottweilers that together weigh substantially more than I do).

Comfortable and warm; the only reason I didn\'t give these boots five stars in comfort is that the tongue and lacing design is a little skimpy. They have no style. They\'re very skid-proof.

These fit true to size and look nice enough for a comfort shoe. Unfortunately, they no longer have the same arch support; it is slightly less supportive and comfortable as the previous pairs I ordered 3 years ago.
