I can't say enough good things about these boots. I have had them for five years now and they still look like new. They are really, really warm, totally waterproof, and best of all they have great traction. I never have to worry about snowy or icy conditions with these boots. You can't go wrong with these boots.

Great for heavy-duty romping in the snow. I bought a pair of these when I was in high school. That was 10 years ago, and I still use them today when I go up north to visit my parents. They were definitely worth the money. They are high-quality and perfect for romping around my parents woods in the northern winter snow. They have lasted a long time, even though I haven't used them as much the past few years as I did when I still lived in the north, they are at my parents home just waiting to be pulled on whenever I visit, and I know they'll keep my feet warm and dry no matter the abuse I put them through.

My husband wears this boot for work. He is very pleased with the comfort and fit of the boot. The only recommendation he would make to the manufacturer is to have leather shoestrings. We are pleased with Zappos. The quick turn around time in delivery is AWESOME! We would recommend Zappos to our friends.

I bought these shoes for something warm in the snowy weather. They are incredibly difficult to get on. My foot is not particularly wide but the opening for these is too small. The first time I wore them took me ten minutes of pulling and tugging. I finally had to find a shoe horn to get them on. Then they were so wide inside that my foot sort of swam around. They also sort of bag around my ankle so they don't look as good on as they do in the picture. They are nice and cozy warm though and the soles don't slip and slide on the ice. I won't return them and as I wore them more they were easier to get on. I am a bit disappointed in them though.

Just moved to Colorado 2 months ago and I was advised to purchase a pair of snow boots. These boots are not only comfortable, they kept my feet from getting wet and absolutely served their purpose. I wear a size 10 and have extra room for warm thick socks!

Very nice, but scratchy inside - This boot was one of the most comfortable I've ever put my feet in - until you walked. On the inside wear the zipper was rubbed up against my skin and I felt it even through my sock. It might have softened up over time, but my leg and ankle couldn’t handle the pain until that time. I'm returning for another Sorel because these had so much potential and beyond the zipper, felt great.

Order Waterfall boots 1 full size up - I followed the recommendations of reviewers and ordered 1/2 size up from my regular shoe size, but couldn't get my foot into the boot easily. Once they were on, they were definitely still too short. Cute boots, just order up a size, minimum. I'm still waiting for my return sticker too...it's been a couple of weeks. For a first time order, I'll give Zappos the benefit of the doubt as I know they have a service motto, but I would have liked to have had this box out of the kitchen and my payment refunded within a week to ten days.

Sorel Cold Mountain - This is the second pair of these boots I bought this season. The first pair where Zip ups. The zips I bought primarily for my 5am. -40 dog walks, it is hard enough to get motivated at 5am at -40 without struggling with laces. The zippers didn't survive 60 days; I tossed them in the trash, and bought these, laces and all. They provide better fit, and comfort than the zips, and are just as warm. They are also much better looking. They have been up and down Devils Head Mountain, and across Devils Head Lake, they handle the 5am. -40 daily dog walks in comfort and style, and the speed lacing makes them almost as easy as the zips to get in and out of. Excellent value, great price, second to none customer service ALWAYS at Zappos. Thanks, Joe.

This boot does not feel small once it is on; the instep doesn't have a lot of loosening slack so it feels tight when it's going on or off. Once you've passed the spot, its fine. I haven't gotten to use them in the cold yet (next season).

Great boot - Comfortable, warm, easy on/off, and they look good too. Ordered 9 1/2 but they felt like they were 1/2 size too small. Reordered 10's and was happy I did. I really like the boot.

These are some the best boots I have ever owned. I just returned from Furmanov, Russia, where it snowed every day and my feet did not get cold even once. I bought them specifically for this trip and was surprised at how comfortable they were without any break-in time.

Not waterproof - I got them as a gift for x-mas. I spent a lot of time outdoors ice fishing in 20-30F weather. I love the way they looks, but that about it. One thing that I noticed right away that they are not waterproof as claimed. Both feet. Not sure if it the seams or construction itself. It is not designed for wet weather. I tried waterproofing them with lanolin and salamander spray but it wasn't much help. The liners are damp after every use. They are heavy and clunky. Very slippery on ice so you need ice cleats. I wouldn't buy them again or recommend my friends buying them.

Sorel - This company never dissapoints me. I've been wearing their boots since I was 11 and I'm 27 now. These boots, the Sorel Glacier, are amazing. Love the design and they are SO comfortable and I usually don't think of snow boots being super comfy... I would recommend these boots to anyone who was looking for a serious boot that is both comfortable and durable… this baby was built to last, haha. My only complaint is that I wish they made it in dark brown...

A great warm boot - I originally bought these for a ski trip, but also ended up taking them as my main shoe for a trip to NYC in winter. First, I thought they were very stylish, especially for a snow boot and didn't have a problem wearing them around all day. In the snow, they did their job very well, keeping my feet warm and dry. They were a little bulky and heavy, but that is to be expected if they are to keep your feet warm. I wore them all week walking all over New York City and they were very comfortable and held up great. I recommend these boots.

Good shoe - Was heading to Alaska for the 1st time and needed a shoe boot. These wore well. They seemed a little on the small size, but even with wool socks they were comfy and warm for being in snow for 3-4 hrs straight. I highly recommend for light and cozy boot.

Solid boots - Because they don't have laces, they tend to slip up on my heel a little bit. However, they have padding in place that prevents this from happening too much. They are very breathable for rubber boots. My feet don't get too hot or sweaty. And they're kind of ugly, but does it really matter in the winter?

Comfy and warm boot - I was looking for a boot that had no laces and was not too bulky but still warm and water proof. I purchased this boot after much time spent comparing similar shoes. So far (I have only worn them twice) I have not had problems with the zipper falling down. I have very muscular legs and I have not felt like the boot was rubbing in the wrong way. I believe I ordered a half size larger than I thought I needed and it fits well.

Very warm boot - I got these boots for my boyfriend for his snowmobiling trip this year and he was very pleased with this item. He said they are very warm and I did go with a size bigger because that is what the other posts read but Matt thought maybe his size would have worked also. He said for those who snowmobile the straps might not be a good thing because when you stand up and ride and rest your foot on the seat, the straps dig into your leg. This was the only complaint he had otherwise he loves these boots.

Great feeling boots! I needed a good easy on boot for snow plowing and got it with this boot. Warm well fitting true to size comfortable boot. Only thing I needed to do is soap zipper to ease movement.

Tough getting into... These boots are impossible to get into. The upper portion of the boot is sewn to the tongue making it a very difficult task putting your feet into them, and the "gaiter" tucks down into the boot with your foot; catching your heel every time. I hope I don't need to get these boots on in a hurry for a fire or something some day. Once on your feet, these boots are great in snow, slush and ice. They are very hard to get your feet into.
