These shoes look and fit great. If I may be allowed a minor complaint, they are a little heavy.

Supergas retro Torino is a reincarnation of the tennies I grew up wearing. Six eyelets to allow a custom fit and a roomy feel. I'm a touring-book writer, so I need a comfy shoe for driving that can take me out onto difficult terrain to make photographs. This shoe does it all! But what's really impressive about Zappos is attitude: easy ordering, good customer support, and a workable exchange system. What's more, I was driving south on the Interstate past Las Vegas, when the highways' shoulders became obviously cleaner. Yup. Zappos had adopted that windy, boiling stretch of highway to keep clean - nothing like their section for miles in either direction. Good going, you guys!

Bigger than expected - I am a true size 5 and when I ordered a size 36 (recommended for a size 5 equivalent) I was swimming in them. At least 1" too large.

A nice alternative to the Converse All Star - I bought these as a birthday present for my boyfriend, who really likes them. They're simple, stylish, and go w/ any jeans-and-shirt pairing. We'll probably be getting another pair. Readers should know that European shoes tend to be a bit narrower than American ones.

Cute but heavy - This tennis shoe was cute, but uncomfortable. Very heavy, and ungainly.

Superga navy - I loved the Superga's. Great style, arch support and overall shoe. The service was fast and efficient.

Kind of tight fit, but very stylish look - These shoes look great, but they are a brocade canvas, not regular canvas like the rest of the canvas Supergas. I think that is hard to discern on the computer screen, so it's important to point out here. The brocade is of the little Superga "S" logo. I was surprised to find this when I got them out of the box, but I decided it wasn't too distracting a print so I decided to keep them. They are tight in the toe box and don't really have any arch support, but I think they are sturdier than Converse (Chuck Taylors) and have a less clunky, more feminine look than Vans (the other two types of all-black sneakers I was looking at). Supergas are classy, and seem to be of better quality than either of those brands. I am a 9/9.5 and ordered a 40. I mostly wear thin socks with them, so if you are a sock wearer or your foot tends to run big, order the next size up. I have a wider foot, and these feel just right whereas Converse can be too narrow and Vans too narrow or too roomy depending on the style. Keds I don't even want to talk about. These shoes go with pretty much anything, and I had been looking for a good black on black pair for a while. Black on black Supergas are hard to find and worth the investment, though if you are looking for a comfort shoe I would say it is only about as comfortable as the brands I have previously mentioned.

Cute but uncomfortable - I ordered these hoping to be able to overlook the lack of arch, but they also aren't very soft. I ordered a size down based on reviews which was the right choice. The fit wasn't great but I don't think I've ever tried on a unisex shoe before. Too bad because I really like the look!

I Heart Supergas! I love this shoe! They are narrow and feel more tailored as opposed to the clunky chunkiness of my Jack Parcells that I also love but for very different reasons... My old pair was a size 37 and I remember them taking some breaking in so I ordered a size 38 this time. The 38 feels a bit big but not big enough to return. That can be the problem with European sizes. I am a size US 7-7.5 and that can be tricky. Only with pumps and shoes more narrow do I buy the 7.5 but in this case I could have stuck with the 37 I think...

Fine shoe - This is simply a basic white leather sneaker, nothing more. It's fine. Not super comfortable (no arch support), but I wasn't expecting that. This is a simple sneaker, period. It is what it is. The price is a little high considering you could buy the same shoe for half (or less) the price. That being said, I wore it around for a day on vacation and had no problems. My feet felt fine.

Superga Firenze (Light Brown Leather) - This pair is incognito cool. Very low key shoes, but they look nice. I like simple looking shoes and these are great. The sizes are not off, I ordered size 42. Fits kind of like Converse Chucks. I can wear 9s, but this feels just a lil bigger than a standard US9. Highly recommended and you won’t find many people wearing them. I don’t even know this brand prior to buying. I just looked at the shoe and bought them because they looked great. Heel area rubbed a lil on the left shoe when new, but I rolled the edge over outwards (away from heel) and it doesn't rub anymore. Other than that, they are comfortable. The tongue is lightly padded. Sole is an old school gummy rubber type material. Highly recommended for those who can appreciate understated style. The black ones in fabric and leather look pretty awesome, too.

Superga tennis shoes are super! These shoes are good looking and very comfortable. They run true to size. I ordered the Linen color. They are quite stylish. I especially like the comfortable sole. These are better than any "Kids" I have ever worn due to the comfort level. I am sure I am going to enjoy these even more this summer. I am very pleased with Zappos’ quick delivery and service. Thank you. After I finish this review, I plan to search for and order a pair of high heel shoes by Stuart Wiseman in tan with horn heels. Via Spiga and Merrells are two of my favorites.

Super Cute Boots - I like the boots overall. They are really comfortable and true to size. The only thing I would change about the boots is the top, front fur flap. It sticks straight out!! You literally have to tie it down with the laces in order to keep it from sticking out. Other than that, it's a super, cool-looking boot! I highly recommend!!

Yum. I used to buy my Superga shoes up in Santa Barbara so I was happy to see them at Zappos. I love the look b/c they are a step up from the normal tennis shoe. Great style and design. These shoes are nice and warm with the faux fleece lining. And if it would ever rain, the waterproofing will be great.

Love 'em! I just got my Supergas today and I am already loving them! A classic style shoe with a twist to make it stand out, but very wearable – they go with just about anything. Dress it up or dress it down. They are super comfortable and look like I've worn them for years. I have had a pair of Converse in the past and had to stop wearing them due to their lack of support. Supergas are totally different! Almost like barefoot. Very sturdy and not too clunky or heavy like I thought they might be. I am a US women's 7.5 or 8 so I got the 8 and they fit well. The only drawback to this shoe is that the dye does rub off but I wouldn't let it stop me from ordering another pair in a different color!

Fun Italian shoe - Easy to wear these; I am a pretty classic shoe lover and they've got to be comfy. No arch support and rub a bit after a long day, but still I just love them. Bought my first pair last year In Italy and so glad you carry them; I'll have them for awhile as they're so classic.

Italian styling in a comfy flat - I can't wear a lot of sneaker type shoes but I can wear these. Perhaps it's because I love the look of them; classic Italian style but no arch support. Still sassy for summer!

Love them!! I love my Superga's. They're perfect for the summer, comfortable and bright. I loved them so much I bought a second pair!! I felt the sizing was pretty accurate; I am a 6 1/2 so I bought the size 37 (US6) because I never like my shoes too big, and they fit me perfectly. I would say the ONLY bad thing about these shoes is that because they are dyed, it rubs off on your SOCKS!! It was permanent, so I would recommend buying a pack of low socks especially to use with your pair. It's worth it because these shoes are hot.

I like it - These shoes are pretty sweet. I was looking for a shoe that was versatile and sporty, but that could also be dressed up. They aren't too tight, but when you wear them, you find out that they're not actually all that wide either. The extra room (I wear an 8) prevented blisters I think. These are an awesome alternative to Converse and they're not associated with the trashy punk rock look. Don't get me wrong, Converse is versatile, too, but it sometimes has that nasty implication. I also prefer this shoe because it has a canvas toe lining in lieu of a rubber one. Your foot feels free in this shoe. I gave four stars for comfort because it could use a little bit more arch support and 4 stars for look because in the US it isn't as recognized as in Europe. I think it's an excellent sneaker though and I highly recommend it. If you're considering the similar Lacoste version, go with this one. It's more timeless.

Not only big, but wide - I had these same shoes (in two colors) ten years ago. They look exactly the same. However, the fit was awful! I ordered a size down as was suggested (and I do recall that from last time) but they were still huge. The toe box was very wide, too. And I'm never one to complain about toe box width. There is also NO arch support. I don't remember this being a problem before, so perhaps the whole shoe has been re-structured differently. Needless to say, I'm sending them back.

About Superga

Superga Superga was born in 1913 in Torino, Italy when Walter Martiny started production of rubber-soled footwear marked with the Superga logo. In 1925 Superga's designs expanded to include shoes with vulcanized rubber soles and the 2750 Heritage style was unleashed!

After World War I, Superga restarted production specializing solely in the production of high quality footwear. In the 1970s, Superga diversified to add sport shoes with technical attributes. Now the collections include Superga City leather and Superga Country rubber rain and outwear boots in addition to the original Superga Vulcanized and Sport lines.

Superga celebrates the fun lifestyle of the 2750 by offering a wide range of colors, fabrics, and prints each season for women, men, and kids. And for the fashionistas, Superga Limited Edition shoes feature the 2750 design in collectible, limited production designs.
