The North Face Women's Venture Jacket

Love the jacket! Have already gotten lots of use out of it. Perfect as a light layer to keep me dry and warm.

The North Face Plasma XCR® Boa®

2009-11-06 12:10:09

Reviewer:Kevin f

Overall Rating: (2 stars)

This is my second replaced pair and second review of the North Face Plasma XCR shoe. Sorry to say the same problem persists: these shoes are not waterproof! They may have a Gore-Tex liner, but that doesn't mean they did a good job with the seams. Same as last post, walking through wet grass and my feet are soaked. If you need a waterproof shoe, this is not your shoe, otherwise I really like the look, grip, easy on off; but come on North Face, I bought some of your most expensive shoes and both pairs have failed by only walking through wet grass.

The North Face Women's NSE Tent Bootie III

Reviewer:Anonymous from New Hampshire

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

The warmest slippers on the planet! These booties aren't the most stylish of all, but that will not matter once you get them on your feet. I wear them from the moment I get home until I go to bed. My feet have always been too cold in socks or slippers, but not anymore; these babies are warm.

The North Face Men's Denali Wind Pro Jacket

2009-11-06 05:34:57

Reviewer:M. H from Massapequa New York

Overall Rating: (4 stars)

This jacket is great. It is very warm and light. It is, however, not 100% wind proof, but far more wind proof than the regular Denali jacket. But remember it can also be used as jacket liner for layering which is very warm.

The North Face Women's Transit Jacket 09

Reviewer:Anonymous from Seattle Washington

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

Love this jacket! Perfect, flattering length, very flattering fit. Warm without being heavy. So stylish! Fit is roomy so you can wear layers underneath. XS feels loose but still looks contoured. I have both the black and the asphalt gray; the gray feels heavier than the black because of the outer material. The gray is a really nice, fashionable color.

The North Face Women's Janey

Reviewer:Laura T from Seattle

Overall Rating: (4 stars)

Bummer. I returned mine. Just wasn't in love with them. But they did feel very comfortable and had an really nice footbed. If I were to keep them, I would have exchanged them for a 1/2 size smaller.

The North Face Women's Mountain Bootie

Reviewer:Jodie D from Iowa

Overall Rating: (3 stars)

North Face customers pay for the name sometimes. This is true with these boots, which are more like slippers and will not be the best for cold snowy weather. They almost seem more like a boot liner. For cold and snow protection, go for something heavier and more durable.

The North Face Men's Chilkats

Reviewer:Justin I from Boston, MA

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

I just recently moved from Florida to Boston and I needed some boots. I ordered some North Face winter boots from Zappos.com and I am 100% satisfied. They came in a timely manner and they were a perfect fit.

The North Face Women's Denali Hoodie 09

This jacket is amazing. It is very comfortable and warm. People keep asking me where I got it because they haven't seen this jacket with a hood on it. Thanks Zappos.

The North Face Women's Rucky Chucky

Reviewer:Heather G from St. Augustine, Florida

Overall Rating: (2 stars)

I hate these shoes. They look awesome, but I bought them from the North Face store. Tried them on and they appeared to fit great. My husband swore by his North Face athletics as well. He bought the male style similar to these. We were both very disappointed. The seam of the shoe is right over my little toes and rubs against them when I'm walking. I am a runner and bought them for that. I wouldn't dare take them out for a run for fear of serious blisters, especially after the minor ones I get from just walking in them. That's with thick socks on, too! My husband is a runner as well. His fell apart in about 6 weeks. North Face quality at least as far as athletic shoes are concerned seemed to have gone downhill. Needless to say these are in nearly new condition and sitting in my closet. Would return them, but I am 2 hours from the nearest North Face Store. I'll go back to my Asics.

The North Face Calyx Classic

2009-11-04 17:33:34

Reviewer:Tracy from California

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

I'm a flight attendant and I bought the North Face Calyx for my layovers. It packs really flat and doesn't take up any space in my suitcase. It's light in weight unlike many bags that weigh a few pounds before you put anything in it. It holds a lot and looks stylish in a casual way while keeping my hands free while I'm sightseeing or shopping. I would definitely recommend this to anyone going on a vacation and doesn't want to lug your big leather purse with them or someone like me who lives out of a suitcase.

I really like the thick rubber sole of the boot and the cute little side pocket. They go on very easy and look very cute for winter. I wish they were a little bit taller of a boot, but I think that's just a personal opinion. They're very warm and are an overall great buy even if they're on the expensive side.

The North Face Women's Aconcagua Vest

2009-11-04 06:45:39

Reviewer:Anonymous from New York

Overall Rating: (4 stars)

This vest is a little narrow, so I would order a size up if you like a bit of room. I wear it with a thin shirt and I am able to zip it if needed. I think it's adorable and was exactly what I wanted for those in between hot/cold days.

The North Face Greenland Zip

I love these boots! My feet are warm and dry every time I wear them. They are not bulky and they are easy to keep clean.

The North Face Women's Transit Jacket 09

2009-11-03 18:48:11

Reviewer:Anonymous from Minnesota

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

When I ordered the jacket, I ordered an XL because I have a different North Face jacket in that size. It came and I tried it on, it was too big for me. I returned it and got the Large and it fits perfect! It\'s real warm but not too puffy. I love that it\'s a little longer too because I don\'t have to keep pulling the bottom of the jacket down when I raise my arms.

The North Face Women's Denali Thermal Jacket 09

Reviewer:Anonymous from Tennessee

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

The jacket is awesome. Warm, but you do not sweat in it. I'm a student and I wear it to school every day starting from October and ending in May. It is a little bit on an expensive side, but believe me it's worth it. Love it.

The North Face Recon

Reviewer:Anonymous from davenport, ia

I love my new bag! I just got back from breaking it in on a 2 week New Zealand vacation. The two side water bottle holders are nice and more versatile than I thought (also give quick access to other items like maps). I didn't carry my laptop this trip, but it fits nicely. The organizer section neatly held my passport, phone, ipod, lip gloss, pens, etc. and the outside mesh pocket stashed anything in a hurry! The only tiny thing it is missing (which I can do without) is a key ring. My keys quickly fell to the bottom of the pocket, but maybe I can get a hook and fix that myself? Anyway, it is a great bag!

The North Face Men's Prophecy II

My hubby loves these shoes! We just returned from New Zealand where he wore them nearly every day. They have good cushion and good traction for trail hiking (and regular every day walking). It is hard to find a good fit for his size 13 foot, but these did the trick!

The North Face Women's Alana Mid

Reviewer:Patty from Long Island, NY

Overall Rating: (4 stars)

Great boot. I am walking around my house with two different boots on and definitely think this boot is quite comfortable and well worth keeping. I have a wide foot and it feels fine. The plus is that it is water resistant/proof, but I haven't had any snow or rain to test it yet. The Timberland is a nice alternative for looks, but the description doesn't give it any water resistant properties like this boot.

The North Face Men's McMurdo Boot

Reviewer:Alaska t

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

Awesome boots, wore them in Alaska last week in 10 degree weather and feet never got cold. Can\'t wait to wear them again on my future trips to Alaska in below zero temperatures. Bought a 1/2 size up and they fit great. Versatile and stylish to wear outdoors as well as a pair of slacks in the office.

This bag is cooler than cool. Holds a bunch, and still looking good. I'm in college. This bag really hauls around all my 100 lb books. North Face is a trendy brand name. Nordstrom sells this bag for more than Zappos. You guys/girls are the coolest, nicest, and the friendliest reps that all other stores should copy from. Keep doing what you do Zappos!

I bought these for my husband who needed a casual shoe that was comfortable and cool looking. These have a unique look to them and he loves them. They are also made by a great company and aim to be ecologically made.

The North Face Women's Slot GTX

Love these boots and so does my grandson! I have average to narrow feet and these fit, plus I still have plenty of room for heavy socks. My grandson borrowed these to hunt in and they kept him dry and toasty. I use them to walk my dogs and I cross a creek every day. Buy 'em; you won't be sorry!

The North Face Greenland Zip

Shipping was fast and the item was accurate. I ordered a size larger thanks to another customer's review and they fit like a glove. Very comfortable and warm. Easy to slip in and out of because of the zipper. Great item!

The North Face Women's Abby II

Reviewer:Anonymous from Michigan

Overall Rating: (5 stars)

These ended up looking better in person than in the picture. I was afraid they'd have a "boat" look about them, but they're actually quite cute. They are very comfortable; they feel like tennis shoes inside. You can also loosen the laces enough to slide them on and off without having to tie/untie ever and so your jeans can tuck inside. It hasn't been cold enough to really test out the warmth/snow waterproofing, but I own another pair of North Face boots and love them, both warm and waterproof. As far as the size, I would order a 1/2 larger (I'm between and 8 1/2-9 and the 9 fits perfect or even a tiny bit small with big socks). I'm very satisfied!

About The North Face

The North Face In 1966, two hiking enthusiasts founded a small mountaineering retail store in the heart of San Francisco's North Beach. The company soon became known as The North Face, a retailer of high-performance climbing and backpacking equipment. (The name was selected because in the Northern Hemisphere, the north face of a mountain is generally the coldest, iciest and most formidable to climb.) In 1968, The North Face began designing and manufacturing its own brand of high-performance mountaineering apparel and equipment, and in the early 1980s, extreme skiwear was added to the product offering. By the end of the decade, The North Face became the only supplier in the United States to offer a comprehensive collection of high-performance outerwear, skiwear, sleeping bags, packs and tents.

Using all types of proprietary technology, TNF provides The North Face jackets, The North Face clothes, The North Face pants, The North Face bags and The North Face shoes with quality, durability, and above all else, functionality. Throughout the years, The North Face jacket and outerwear division has set the standard in the industry. With styles such as The North Face Denali jacket and vest, The North Face Apex Bionic jackets, and The North Face Nupste jackets, The North Face jackets proves time and time again that they are at the forefront of high-performance apparel.

Their dedication to footwear is no different. With the different categories of trail running, hiking, mountaineering, and most recently ultra running, The North Face shoes division continues to raise the bar for innovation and quality in their shoes. Using proven technology such as Gore-Tex® and Gore-Tex® XCR®, their insulated footwear can sustain use in low, sub-zero temperatures, and with the innovative Boa® technology, users can have a precise fit with the ability to adjust quickly and on the fly. All features that make The North Face shoes a leader in the technical footwear arena.

The North Face’s dedication to quality can also be seen in their gear and equipment. The North Face sleeping bags with a high fill of goose down for warmth and multiple lengths. The North Face daypacks and expedition packs such as the Recon and Jester that are rugged, durable, and can hold all you gear. The North Face tents that will withstand extreme temperatures on Everest and Mt. Rainier. If you have a desire to test the limits, The North Face equipment will help you on your adventure.
