I recently moved to Boston and needed a good pair of rain boots that were comfortable enough to walk around the city. I got a size 37 which fits my 6.5 foot perfectly. Comfortable for the most part, but I do have one complaint. The top of the boot comes at the bottom of my calves (which are big) and rubs my against them and becomes uncomfortable after awhile. Other than that, they're great. Very nice quality and will hold up for a really long time.

I\'ve been using this brand for the last 6 years and loved them. Unfortunately, the boot has changed. It now has a thicker, warmer lining and as a result it doesn\'t fit my foot. I ordered a 9, then tried a 10. The boot rubs me on my ankle and flops around the calf now. I think the yellow color is great and am disappointed that I can\'t wear this boot anymore.

Superb waterproof boots with style as a bonus. Comfortable for long walks without the heavy clumpiness of other boots in this class. A head turner, to the extent that waterproof boots can turn heads. Note that their sizing is slightly on the large side so a half size smaller than normal works fine.

Great boots delivered quickly. The width is wide, but the length is true to size. I get compliments every rainy day.

These boots look fantastic, but the strangest phenomenon occurs when I wear them with socks and not tights. They pull off my socks every time! I have tried several different pairs of socks, but the result is always the same; after walking for a bit, I end up with a wadded up sock in the front of my boot. Perhaps the boot is too large and it's rubbing funny, but if that's the case the boots run at least a full size large. The inconvenience of designating them "tights only" rain boots definitely detracts from their overall value, especially in the cold months where the fluffy, warm insides should be the most useful.

These boots rock. The weather where I'm from is cold, wet, and snowy for most of the year, so lined waterproof rainboots are necessary, and these are super comfy and adorable. I'm on the short side, so the half-calf height is perfect; I also love that the foot is a bit larger, instead of in the fitted rainboot style. Note: You might want to go a half-size larger if you want to wear them with thick socks, like I plan to.

Love these boots- great for cool rainy fall days. Looks good with jeans tucked in or over them and even cute with a skirt. They are not too loose around the calve as many boots can be on me. Might be a tad tight if you have very large calves. These will take me well into winter and will be perfect for Spring as well. They are so comfortable. Perfect boot to keep by the back door to slip on for the bus stop or to run errands - with or without socks!

Love these. I needed boots for when the rain blows sideways in flat farm country. I ordered these for their smart looks & was really impressed with the craftsmanship. These are composite, so there aren't any places for leaks in the rubber. They are lined with some kind of soft fleece that's warm; I didn't have to wear socks. Run small/true to size. The 7 just fit me, and if I planned to wear hefty socks, 7 would have been too small. I would order 1/2 size up. Another great thing: these are so light! I couldn't believe it when the box came, it wasn't heavy at all. Also fashionable. I have slim calves and can get jeans inside with no effort. Might be an issue if you have muscle.

Excellent rain boots for men; keeps the rain out and keeps you warm on a chilly (maybe not freezing) day with the plush lining. Normally wear 8.5, but the 41 had a bit too much toe space, but 40 worked perfectly. Comfortable for walking, and not noticeably heavy. The ankles with the elastic are slim openings, but hold on pretty well once the shoes are on.

Love these boots! These boots are super cute, have great soles and traction, and are very warm and waterproof. Basically the best winter boot ever. They're not super clunky and ridiculous looking, unlike Uggs. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone looking for a solid winter boot.

I just received my boots and love them. I got the Olive green and am very pleased with the color. I have a small foot size 5.5 and the 36 is a bit snug with a regular sock, but okay because I wear my shoes a little tight. I also think over time they might get loose. I can wear them with skinny jeans and when under regular jeans, they look like sneakers.

We have had so much rain in Tennessee this year, I thought I was going to have to buy myself a pair of Sarah Palin waders! But I have more style than that so after searching around quite a bit, I came across the Tretorn Skerry Vinter. My property is in a wooded area with creatures crawling around and brambles and poison ivy. So, now when I go tromping through the woods, I feel secure up to about midcalf because I am wearing my Tretorns. I tried a bunch of other similar boots, but they either were not made well, fit funny, or were just plain ugly. These fit true to size, are comfortable, clean up easily, and look good, so I wear them on the city streets as well. If there were more variety of colors from which to choose, I would own a second pair.

After trying to wear sheepskin boots through a sloppy Montreal winter, I decided to try these Skerry Vinters and found them wonderful! With warm socks, they kept my feet warm and dry. I'm a 7.5, and 38 fit perfectly (though I notice that Bri from Houston is the same size and prefers 39). Quite true to size, but if you're between sizes, I suggest ordering up.

These boots were very cute! They were not amazingly comfortable, but they weren\'t uncomfortable. They kept the water out through every rainstorm and most of the winter, until they tore on the inside seam. \r\n\r\nOverall, they were good boots for the money, but I bought Hunter boots this year.

I was really excited to receive these boots, but very disappointed when I did. They seemed well made, but they were extremely small! I am usually a size 9.5, and I have very narrow feet, but I ordered a size up because they were lined and I figured I would wear medium to heavy-weight socks with them. I boots barely fit my feet, and were super-tight on my calves! Admittedly, I don\'t have very skinny calves, but they were uncomfortably tight, and I don\'t even think I would have been able to wear them with tights or leggings let alone think of tucking my pants into them! I was surprised, because it doesn\'t make sense to have such a narrow-shafted rain boot, because if you can\'t tuck your pants in, they\'re going to get wet!

Should have read more reviews! Previously bought the \'Skerry\' in size 38, which was fine, so I sent for this version (Skerry Vinter Shiny) in the same size. Wrong! Need a size larger - perhaps because the lining is about 2x as thick?\r\nOtherwise the boot is fine - nice deep purple color, non-slip sole, not too heavy. Keep in mind this is more for rain/slush than for a cold winter boot. And get a size larger - I tried them with my usual wool and polyester socks, and with a thin nylon, and they were both too tight.

When looking for boots, I didn't want to purchase the standard brown, bland boots. These caught my eye because they were more stylish. They are very nice, but one thing is disappointing. They are much, much wider than I expected them to be. It might just be me because I am used to my narrow Pumas, but they are still nice boots.

These are super cute, comfy and useful. I am a petite woman (5ft) and my previous pair of rain boots were too tall and thus uncomfortable. These I can actually walk in, and they look great.

These are stunningly comfortable shoes considering how stylish they are. When they first arrived I though they\'d be too small, but that was just the elastic being tight (not the external strap, but the internal elastic that holds the tongue to the side of the shoe). But as soon as they were on my foot it stretched out and now I can slip them on and off easily. They\'re a great way to get the Converse All-Star look but with a bit more refinement - they look amazing with cuffed jeans.

Just received these and I'm so sad to have to return them. They are adorable, but too large. I purchased Tretorns last year with lining and they fit perfectly, but these were too large perhaps because the lining isn't as thick.

These boots worked great, got tons of compliments on them (had them in the yellow), until they cracked around the toes. Bummer. I don't think I got nearly enough wear out of them for how much I paid, but for the time I did have them I really enjoyed them.

I ordered the Tretorn T-56 because I was looking for a unique canvas shoe. Deep down they truly are unique. But the problem with "deep down" is that it takes time to get to know a shoe this well. At first glance, the T-56 looks like a Chuck Taylor. Everyone I know/meet thinks I\'m wearing Converse. Now, image isn\'t the most important thing in the world; but if we\'re honest with ourselves, we can\'t say it doesn\'t hold any value. There are too many people in the world and most of us are trying our best to stand out. If you\'re looking to stand out, the Tretorn T-56 is not for you. Spend half the money and get some the All Stars. And if you\'re looking for something aesthetically unique, you\'ll have to spend three times as much and get a pair of shoes by Camper, for instance. But we\'ve strayed from the matter at hand. As I have said, the T-56 is in fact an amazingly unique shoe. If your feet can stand a flat shoe, they are perfectly comfortable. I drive in them, walk in them, "kick it at the beach" in them...they fit every mood. Craftsmanship is at a high. These are how canvas shoes should fit and wear. All the hipsters will be wearing Vans and Converse...maybe even PF Flyers. And most people you meet will assume you\'re wearing a pair of these "value" sneakers...but you\'ll have to take solace in the fact that you know the difference. You\'re sporting Swedish delightfulness. This boost in confidence and self assuredness will no doubt catch the attention of a fine lady and you will go home the victor. Take that, hipster!

First of all, I was impressed at how fast Zappos sent my order! Modern technology is such a marvel. The boots were great; it seems that this is the only brand that is not the stinky, shiny plastic seen everywhere. I liked the color and fuzzy lining and although they seemed a little wider than I would've thought, with thick socks I'm sure I'll be grateful. I would definitely buy this brand of boot again.

Tretorn Founded by Henry Dunker at the end of the 19th century in Sweden, Tretorn was an innovator in footwear from the moment it was launched. Having built up a reputation for dependability and discreet luxury with its iconic rubber boots, Tretorn was also the first company to launch the pressureless tennis ball.

The company's association with life on and off court rapidly created something of a cult following surrounding the brand, a status which was firmly secured when Wimbledon winners took to the grass in Tretorn in the 1970s. Inspired by the high profile and success of the brand, Tretorn's canvas and leather Nylites were the only shoe in which to be seen wearing on North American campuses throughout the 1980s. Lean and understated, the Tretorn sneaker was the first luxury sports shoe on the market.
