All around, it's a good boot. It's comfortable (for the most part) and attractive (for a combat boot). They really are not true to size. I'm often a 7.5. I read somewhere that these boots in particular run small. They definitely do. I decided to order them in my regular size and half a size larger (free shipping both ways so I knew it wouldn't be the worst idea ever). I am sending both pairs back for yet a larger size. So, these boots are far off the mark for sizing. But the fact I am going through with ordering a third pair should tell you that the boot is worth it.

I was nervous about shoe shopping online at first, but being able to return 100% with a year to do it I worried a little less about being able to try them on first. No worries here! This shoe looks good with anything and are amazingly comfortable. I got them to wear with a dress and have even been wearing them with jeans and the like. I wore them all day and night and my feet never hurt and had no blisters. Great shoe!

I got these boots for my teenage daughter and they are very nice. The leather is soft and the zipper makes them really easy to put on. We had looked at Dr. Martens, but they were just too expensive. She liked these much better anyway. She wears about a 7 1/2, but I got her an 8 and they fit perfect. She says they are very comfortable, no blisters or tough breaking in time. Great boots.

Not comfortable; these looked so cute online and when I got them I really liked them. I don't think they look cute with skirts or skinny jeans. I wear them under boot cut jeans and they look cute, but start becoming uncomfortable after about 30 minutes.

I bought this pair of shoes specifically for a weekend girls get-away to California because I thought I could dress them up or down. I also loved the height and was encouraged by all the other reviews about how comfortable they were. The foot bed is amazingly soft and they are comfortable; my only mistake was only bringing this pair of shoes. After wearing them exclusively on my travel day, through airports, etc., and on our first full day of vacation fun I began to develop a blister on both feet under the strap. Had I worn these at home more to get my feet accustomed to them before the trip I think I would have been fine. I wear them every few days now with no problem, but recommend breaking them in a little if you plan on packing light for a vacation.

I LOVE these shoes. They are so comfortable that I can walk in them all day, and my feet do not hurt. I would highly recommend them. I especially like the fact they make me taller and are so very comfortable.

Answer for blister problem. The manufacturer tag on each shoe strap causes it to stick to your skin. Once I cut it out, I had no problems, but it was very hard to cut out and I did nip the lining by accident. I have to say I got mine for considerably less at a discount store, but feel so bad I am buying a 2nd pair. My only complaint is that they do stretch out (the strap between your toes gets longer with wear) and then it's hard to hold them on. The traction is great; I ran a football field at 2 U2 concerts in them with no issues and stood all day, so maybe that is why they stretched! I thought they were true to size.

These shoes are oh so comfortable and really cool, and I am a 73 year old grandma. I loved them so much I sent a pair to my daughter. They are light and go with anything you are wearing.

I usually wear an 8. Very occasionally a 7.5. The 8 in these just barely did not fit. I probably could have gone with them, toe just touching the edge when walking, but I didn't think I could dance in them so got an 8.5, which are comfortable. I wore them all day and no pain or tiredness. My right boot also started making a slight squeek halfway through the first day. All that said, these are great boots! Girlish but rugged at the same time.

These are cute shoes! I wore these as well as the Volatile Man Kind rhinestone shoes in black all Summer. Volatile shoes are so fun and stylish plus I haven't had any staining on the bottom of my feet from them like I have encountered with some other brands. Highly recommend!

I sold a pair of combat boots a long time ago at a garage sale and have regretted it ever since. Finally found a pair that is fashionable and affordable. These are comfortable, lightweight and adorable. Not high end quality, but for the price they are great. First time I wore them I got tons of compliments. Great boot and great price.

This is a super cute shoe. I thought it ran a little big. I had bought another pair of the same brand and was looking for the same fit and feel. The straps are not as comfortable as I thought they would be. My other volatiles had padding on the inside. I would buy a ½ size smaller.

Take Out!!!! Fantastic - I own both black and brown of Take out! This is a fantastic shoe, comfortable, fashionable! Adjustable strape makes it very easy to fit. Wicker detail along the heel is very nice looking, HOWEVER, be aware that if you are flexing the sole and/or walking on gravel/uneven ground, you will see the wicker come away from the shoe. I returned one pair already and have resigned myself to gluing it. Wood glue works really well, resist water, dries clear and holds forever.

I had to return these boots because they were too small. I even ordered a half size larger than usual, so I should have gone a full size. Also the right boot squeaked uncureably and bagged around the ankle unattractively. I think I\'ll be looking for a different boot when I order something in it\'s place. \r\n\r\nTo say some nice things - they are cute, and just that right mix of rugged/can-still-wear-it-to-work that I appreciate. It makes them very versatile.

I bought these sandals in chocolate brown in March 2009 and I love them. They are extremely comfortable and look great with jeans and shorts. They give me a little height boost without looking too over the top. They have held up great all summer long and I've worn them 3-4 days a week.

This is my new favorite shoe. I love it so much that I have it in black and also recently purchased it in brown. It is VERY comfy and casually stylish. I am 5'2" and it adds that little extra height I look for in footwear.

Ok, yes these run small. Definitely run small it depends on foot shape how small they;re going to be though i have a broad foodbed so the toe area was cramped for me I generally wear a six 6.5 at the most in flats and a 7 or 7.5 in heels. Though an 8 might fit ok I'm going to go with an 8.5 for comforts sake. That said.These shoes are undeniably cute. Perfect for cosplayers or cute anime type girls in general.The toe is rounded but petite heel isn't too narrow and the length isn't so bad. I took my size 6 corcs and compared the bottoms of the shoes together my cros albeit a bit big for a 6 are about half an inch wider maybe a bit less than the bottom of the shoe. These are well balanced shoes and easy to walk in even snug. The Grey is in between a light Grey and a dark Grey not really a cool Grey or a warm Grey. Its a nice mid tone Grey. The inside of the shoe is leather and has that nice warm leather smell to it the leather is soft on the inside it appears the upper is proper patent and suede leather. The overall construction is good not much arch support if you have middling to high arches. So get some of the lovely insoles on the site to go with your shoes. I bet the ugg insoles would put a nice conversion on these. If you're looking at these shoes thinking about it give them a try. Customer service definitely has your back at Zappos if it doesn't work out just return them. Thanks Nikki for helping me with my order.

I have TWO pairs of these Volatile flips, love, love, them. The inside is very soft and firm at the same time, which makes this shoe very nice for standing and walking. I have a high arch, so this fits very comfortable without the ache from long wear. The shoe also snugs to my foot, so there is no slippage when walking, which is one of the things I loved about this shoe. They are the exact size of my foot size, so no worries about ordering size up or down.

The Volatile Sharkey flip flops are wonderful. I have a very narrow foot and these shoes do run more narrow than a regular flip flop. You can dress them up or dress down with this style. It is great for work!

Purchased these shoes as my wedding flip flops to match where my dress was hemmed on my formal shoes. It was a last minute buy, but a great one! Our wedding was outside on a hill in a winery, and these saved my feet from aching and my nice shoes from sinking into massive amounts of dirt and vines. I will definitely wear them again, very comfortable and super fun!

I purchased the sandals because I liked the style an acquaintance was wearing. I asked her where she got the sandals and she was so excited to tell me. She told me she bought them through Zappos.com and the name brand is Volatile. She told me that they are the most comfortable sandal she has ever worn. I, too, agree with her experience. You can wear the sandals with anything! If you are in the half sizes, I recommend you choose the next size up. I love the Volatile sandal!
